About the Role

As a Lead Central Sterile Processing Technician, you will independently manage the department during off-shifts and weekends, ensure adherence to sterile processing policies, arrange in-service education programs, and continuously improve quality of care. You will also prepare surgical trays, maintain sterilization equipment, evaluate staff schedules, and serve as a liaison between the Sterile Processing Department and the Operating Room. Additionally, you will mentor new personnel and participate in performance improvement activities.

About You

Required:

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Two years of central sterile processing experience required, or graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician/Sterile Processing program with one year of central sterile processing experience.

Preferred:

Certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
Experience in managing a sterile processing department.
