About the Role
As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will work in a multi-disciplined team environment, focusing on civil site development for power plant projects. Your responsibilities include preparing calculations and designs for storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, and earthwork, as well as coordinating with project managers and contractors to ensure timely design completion. You will also guide other engineers and designers, prepare technical specifications, and review contractor submissions for compliance.
About You
Required:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- PE license required, preferably in Florida.
- Ten or more years of experience in heavy industrial project design, with a focus on power plants.
- Experience in technical writing for civil engineering reports and specifications.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design tools such as AutoDesk Civil 3D and MS Office.
Preferred:
- Experience with coal combustion residuals management and disposal.
