About the Role
As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, improvement, and construction of infrastructure projects. Your tasks will include research, design, planning, and construction of facilities, roads, buildings, and water supply systems. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while managing project teams and developing construction plans and specifications.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
- Professional Engineer’s license.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
- Proficient with civil engineering principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure design.
- Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
- Well-defined knowledge of civil construction laws, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to conduct inspections and investigations on construction and design aspects.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-leadership and attention to detail.
- Proficient with technical writing and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER).
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.
