About the Role
As a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying infrastructure services on AWS, interacting with scientists to understand their computational needs, and developing solutions to enhance research efficiency. Your tasks will include systems administration, automation of operations, containerization of applications, and leading cloud DevOps engineers. You will also be involved in developing standard operating procedures and maintaining cloud applications and services.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of Information Technology cloud engineering and DevOps experience.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services, Docker, ECS, ECR, EKS, and Fargate.
- Systems administration of Linux servers and web server administration (Tomcat, Apache, Nginx).
Preferred:
- Experience with CloudFormation scripts for server deployment and configuration.
- Knowledge of EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, RDS, and monitoring tools.
