About the Role
As a Lead Consultant, Electrical Engineer, you will work within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawings and specifications, coordinate design activities, and design electric distribution, fire alarm, and lighting systems. You will perform calculations, manage construction administration, and supervise younger engineers while ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering for capital projects.
- Engineer license preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical infrastructure design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of engineering and electrical construction laws and energy codes.
- Interest in renewable energies and sustainable building design.
- Ability to make technical computations and understand plans and specifications.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
Preferred:
- Experience in New Construction and High Rise Building Design.
- PE License or LEED AP certification.
- Knowledge of AGI32 and SKM.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER).
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.
