About the Role
As a Lead Data Architect, you will drive data architecture decisions that impact product design and application functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, design and maintain data architecture frameworks, and ensure data integrity and quality through various strategies. Additionally, you will evaluate new technologies and serve as a subject matter expert in your areas of focus.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience developing secure, high-quality production codes and reviewing/debugging code written by others.
- Familiarity with APIs, Micro Services frameworks, Data Platforms, Data Streaming, and Stream Processing techniques using Kafka, Flink, Apache Iceberg.
- AWS certification including Database Storage, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Application Integration Services.
- Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
