About the Role
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will design and develop a data platform using the Google Cloud stack, extend microservices code in Java/Kotlin, and lead a dynamic team while ensuring high-quality technical deliveries. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business needs and mentor team members in innovative software solutions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Scala, Java, or Kotlin.
- Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge.
- Experience in design/development of scalable, available, resilient, and observable large scale data processing applications.
- Experience in thoroughly testing software applications via unit, integration, end-to-end, load testing.
Preferred:
- Knowledge about data processing in Google Cloud Platform (or any other cloud).
- Experience building hybrid applications spanning from on-prem to cloud.
- Strong Terraform knowledge and infrastructure design skills.
- Current on technical trends to suggest innovative tools and approaches.
