Summary
CapTech is seeking a Lead Data Strategist to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves providing technical and project leadership while collaborating with clients to enhance their data management and analytics capabilities.
About the Role
As a Lead Data Strategist, you will leverage your technical and industry expertise to support business development and account management. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with client stakeholders to turn concepts into actionable insights, improving data integration and quality, assessing data management technologies, and mentoring team members. You will also partner with internal teams to demonstrate technical capabilities and lead client engagements in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- 14+ years of leading large technical teams and projects.
- 10+ years of experience implementing a variety of on-premises and cloud data management platforms.
- Proven track record of assessing traditional and modern data architectures.
- Experience with modern data stack/platform technologies.
- Delivery experience on multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep background with integrations and transformations of various data sources.
- 5+ years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services.
Preferred:
- Experience with real-time data distribution technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase).
- History of conducting strategic data assessments and implementing data governance frameworks.
