About the Role
As a Lead Electrical CAD Designer, you will create 2D and 3D models of electrical systems, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with technical specifications. You will work closely with engineers to modify designs, prepare engineering drawings, and validate designs for quality and safety standards. The role requires advanced proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of electrical design principles.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or relevant field.
- 6-8 years of experience in electrical design within the power distribution or data center industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Revit).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
Preferred:
- Proven experience as a CAD designer in an electrical engineering environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with engineers and clients.
