About the Role
As a Lead Electrical Engineer 1, you will lead a team in investigating, troubleshooting, and solving electrical engineering issues. Your responsibilities will include defining project scopes, tracking progress, coordinating multi-discipline deliverables, and providing technical oversight for engineering design change packages. You will also mentor team members and develop proposals for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
About You
Required:
- BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- 10 or more years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants.
- Three or more years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design.
- Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, and preparation of engineering design change packages.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- PE Licensure.
- Experience with electrical system design including low and medium voltage distribution systems.
