About the Role
As a Lead Electrical Engineer 1 - Nuclear, you will lead a team on complex projects, ensuring successful completion of deliverables while coordinating with multiple disciplines. Your responsibilities will include defining project scopes, reviewing progress, mentoring team members, and interfacing with clients to ensure satisfaction. You will also develop proposals and oversee engineering design change packages for nuclear power plants.
About You
Required:
- A BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- 10 or more years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants.
- Three or more years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design.
- Experience with electrical system design including low and medium voltage distribution systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- PE Licensure.
- Experience in the selection of equipment and preparation of engineering design change packages.
