About the Role
As Lead Engineer at Uptiv Health, you will serve as the technical backbone of a fast-scaling healthcare company. You will own, design, and evolve a scalable, interoperable, and AI-enabled platform that connects clinical, operational, and data systems across the organization. This senior leadership role combines strategic architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on coding, with a strong focus on AI-first development and seamless interoperability across systems.
About You
Required:
- 8–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including technical leadership in healthcare.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
- Deep experience with Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Expertise in React, Angular, or similar modern frontend framework.
- Proficient in designing robust APIs and experience developing secure, distributed microservices.
Preferred:
- Experience successfully working with remote and distributed teams.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization, margin analysis, and how technology investments translate to business metrics.
- Hands-on experience building with AI/ML models and integrating AI toolkits into software engineering processes.
- Experience designing data lakehouse architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery).
- Expertise in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI, payer APIs).
