Summary
Venture Global LNG is seeking a Lead Engineer, Civil to join their team in Downtown Houston, TX. The role involves producing engineering documents for site preparation, grading, drainage, roads, and paving for their facilities.
About the Role
As a Lead Engineer, Civil, you will be responsible for leading the development of calculations, quantities, reports, drawings, and specifications for civil sitework. You will collaborate with other disciplines and support project management while ensuring high-quality civil engineering documents are produced efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented leader capable of managing multiple tasks with separate deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 to 15 years of relevant experience within oil, gas, and chemical facilities, preferably LNG within an EPC company
- Professional Engineering License
- Louisiana Professional Engineering License or qualifications to obtain one within 4 months of start date
- Skill in oral and written communication
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with hydrology and hydraulics site drainage software such as EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), or InfoDrainage
Preferred:
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
Venture Global LNG
Venture Global is a long-term, low-cost provider of U.S. LNG sourced from resource rich North American natural gas basins. Venture Global’s first facility, Calcasieu Pass, commenced producing LNG in January 2022.
