Summary
Relativity Space is seeking a Lead, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for the Second Shift in Long Beach, CA. The role involves leading EHS programs and strategies to ensure safety and compliance in the manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Lead EHS Specialist, you will drive incident investigations, manage emergency responses, and collaborate with various departments to implement EHS objectives. You will also develop risk assessments, conduct EHS training, and foster a positive safety culture while managing a team of EHS Specialists on the second shift.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental Sciences.
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in the EHS field.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a people leader.
- Project management experience in safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CalOSHA, SCAQMD, LARWQCB, CUPA, DTSC, RCRA and hazardous waste regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred:
- OSHA 30-Hour certification.
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour certification.
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) / Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
- EMT certification and experience.
