About the Role
As a Lead Environmental Planner/Senior Siting Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting siting and routing studies for energy projects, gathering background data, preparing maps, participating in public meetings, and liaising with governmental agencies and clients. You will also support the documentation of the siting process and provide guidance on state filing requirements.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in environmental planning or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Geology.
- Familiarity with routing/siting studies and preparing associated reports.
- Excellent technical writing skills and ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to manage project teams and deliver high-quality work.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and public meetings.
Preferred:
- 5-10+ years of experience in siting and routing for energy projects.
- Experience with ArcGIS and related software.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects.
