About the Role
As a Lead Heavy Equipment Operator-Crew Leader, you will coordinate and supervise the operation of various heavy equipment, perform minor repairs, and assist in road construction and maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include grading and paving roads, constructing and repairing bridges, and ensuring safety standards are met during operations. You will also manage work schedules, inspect completed work, and respond to emergency calls as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduation or GED equivalent.
- Five (5) years of experience as a heavy equipment operator or related field.
- Valid state Class A Commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
Preferred:
- CPR / FIRST AID certification.
- OSHA Training (Competent Person, Confined Space, and Excavation and Trenching).
