Acquire4Hire is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to join their team in Richmond, VA. The role involves developing a cohesive teaching team, executing the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
About the Role
As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will coordinate and implement educational curriculum, lead by example, plan age-appropriate activities, maintain communication with parents, ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations, supervise teacher assistants, maintain accurate records, and focus on continuous professional development.
About You
Required:
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of professional childcare experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High energy and ability to work well with others.
Strong understanding of child development.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or can attain upon hire).
Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
Preferred:
Associate degree in early childhood education or related field with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
