About the Role
As a Lead Mammographer, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mammography department, ensuring quality patient care, and compliance with safety regulations. You will supervise staff in the absence of management, promote teamwork, and assist in performance evaluations. Additionally, you will engage in direct patient care and handle complex patient issues while ensuring the safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
About You
Required:
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
- Current experience as a radiology technologist.
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).
