About the Role
As a Lead Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for hiring and evaluating mammography personnel, training new staff, overseeing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with MQSA and ACR standards. You will also perform mammography-related procedures, manage follow-up procedures for results, and maintain documentation for billing and quality assurance.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- ARRT membership and ARRT (M) registry in Mammography.
- AHA BLS Provider CPR certification.
- Minimum of four years’ experience with quality control testing procedures.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an interventional mammographer.
- Working knowledge of ACR and MQSA regulations.
Preferred:
- Computer knowledge including spreadsheet software.
