About the Role
As a Lead Manufacturing Technician, you will provide technical expertise to support manufacturing processes, conduct quality inspections, lead audits, and implement corrective actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards, impacting the success of the Aerospace business unit.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 3 years in a Technician or related role
- Experience with Root Cause Correct Actions
- First Article Inspection Reports
- Understanding of Quality Management System compliance requirements
- Strong technical skills in quality inspection and manufacturing processes
- Experience collaborating with a team of technicians and engineers
- Ability to support 2nd shift hours and overtime requirements
- Experience redlining documents (part specifications and/or work instructions)
Preferred:
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
- Experience in aerospace industry standards
- Experience with AS9100/ISO9001
- AS9100/ISO9001 Auditing Experience
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
