About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience; Professional Engineer (PE) license in California preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior-level role.
- Proven design experience across diverse project types, such as industrial cooling tower systems, chiller plants, and high-tech/R&D facilities.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handling units.
- Familiarity with International Code Council (ICC) suite of codes and California-specific Title 24 codes.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools including Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculations.
- Expertise in HVAC or process system design.
- Construction administration experience, such as site observation visits and reviewing RFIs.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE and SMACNA handbooks and standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
