About the Role
As a Lead Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for daily supervision of laboratory operations, including staff scheduling, quality control, and patient care. You will oversee test results, maintain technical procedures, and support customer service initiatives. Additionally, you will develop and validate laboratory tests, train new employees, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science or equivalent.
- Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT) certification.
- Five (5) years of experience in a high complexity clinical laboratory.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Completed competency in assigned area within one (1) year of accepting the position.
