About the Role
As a Lead Medical Technologist Special Chemistry, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of laboratory examinations and tests, including specialized procedures. You will ensure the accuracy of results and manage all technical aspects of special chemistry services, including training and assessing the competency of lab technical staff.
About You
Required:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology leading to ASCP certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital laboratory, with at least 2 years in Special Chemistry.
Preferred:
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, AAB, NCA, or HHS certification.
