About the Role
As a Lead Monitor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the efforts of Monitors to provide security and safety for clients, visitors, and employees. Your duties will include assigning shifts, training staff in safety and security procedures, monitoring shelter entrance and screening, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. You will also be expected to act as a role model for participants and assist in various client support tasks.
About You
Required:
- One year of experience in the general security field, social services, or customer service.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
Preferred:
- Current California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience in a group residential setting or serving the homeless.
- Familiarity with databases.
