Summary
Akumin® is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to join their team in Springfield, MA. The role involves serving as a clinical expert and primary trainer for new hires while performing scanning responsibilities.
About the Role
As a Lead MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing clinical scans, training new hires, conducting ongoing reviews on clinical competencies, assisting with day-to-day unit operational issues, and collaborating with the team and customers on protocol development and review.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT required.
- State license, if applicable required.
- CPR certification required - BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association Kaiser only.
- Valid state driver’s license, as applicable required.
- Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
- Ability to work at several locations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
