Primrose School of Lone Tree is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to join their team in Lone Tree, CO. The role involves creating a fun and safe environment for preschool-age children, guiding their growth through small group instruction.
About the Role
As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children. You will assess each child's developmental needs, implement approved lesson plans, and maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making. You will work closely with the Leadership Team to plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You
Required:
- Must meet basic requirements of Colorado Shines.
- PDIS Level 2+, CDA, AS or BS Degree in Early Childhood Education, education, or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, daycare center, or education.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
Benefits
- Hourly compensation of $20.00 to $23.00, depending on experience and education.
- $500 Signing Bonus after 90 days.
- Set Schedule Monday- Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm.
