About the Role
As a Lead Product Manager, you will transform early-stage recommender work into a robust personalization platform. Your responsibilities include charting the long-term strategy, partnering with Machine Learning teams, defining key metrics, balancing short-term wins with long-term vision, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to align product goals.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading recommender systems or large-scale search/ranking products.
- Demonstrated success shipping ML-driven recommendation features that improved core business metrics.
- Deep familiarity with retrieval and ranking algorithms, embeddings, and feature stores.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Preferred:
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL and a scripting language (Python or R).
- Experience designing LLM- and GenAI-enhanced user experiences.
- Familiarity with modern ML operations tooling and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Passion for the written word and open knowledge.
