UKG is seeking a Lead Product Manager, US Tax Products to lead scrum teams within the UKG Ready suite, focusing on payroll and tax products. The role is based in Branchburg, NJ and involves managing product backlogs and collaborating on product vision and development.
About the Role
Lead scrum teams by providing direction and clarification in an Agile environment; create, prioritize, groom, and manage product requirements; ensure the team has adequate prepared tasks; plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development; collaborate with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities; assess value and prioritize work aligned with product strategy; manage backlog, iteration planning, and user stories; mitigate impediments to meet release and sprint goals; monitor competitors and industry trends; stay updated on Agile/Scrum best practices; provide product demonstrations; assist in drafting and editing product documentation; collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years in SaaS Product Management
- 4-5+ years of US Payroll/US Taxation and/or services industry experience
- Strong knowledge of US Taxation (Federal, State, Local) for both Employees and Employers
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to work in a collaborative hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office
Preferred:
- Experience working with Agile or Agile Scrum methodologies
- Enterprise SaaS software solution experience
- Commercial product management experience or similar
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented structures
- FPC or any Payroll related certification
