Wood is recruiting for a Lead Project Architect to join its Life Sciences business. This opportunity is Remote.
About the Role
As a Lead Project Architect, you will lead architectural delivery across the full project lifecycle in Life Sciences markets. Your responsibilities will include guiding early design and feasibility, preparing construction drawings, developing specifications, conducting code and life-safety reviews, assessing existing facilities for retrofit, and providing client-facing leadership while mentoring junior staff.
About You
Required:
Professional degree in Architecture (NAAB-accredited): Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch, 5-year) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch).
10-15 years of related experience.
Home state professional architect registration is required.
Preferred:
NCARB certification.
Project management experience.
Permitting experience.
Working knowledge with the latest releases of architectural software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Applications.
Demonstrated expertise in facade design and exterior envelope detailing.
Spec-writing experience for Life Sciences projects with proficiency in SpecLink Cloud or MasterSpec.
