Summary
Ovyl is seeking a Lead Project Manager (Hardware/Physical Products) to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves managing projects from research through execution, ensuring the successful delivery of tech-enabled physical products.
About the Role
As a Lead Project Manager, you will manage projects from research through execution, collaborate with project teams to define and manage detailed project plans, serve as a point of contact for clients, proactively monitor project health, and work closely with the Ovyl leadership team to improve project management and client communication.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in hardware new product development, with at least 5 years as a project manager.
- Well-versed in using project management software such as Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.
- Fluency with the process and needs of different disciplines, including electrical engineering, hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and user research.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, or relevant industry experience.
- Must live in the Nashville, TN, area or be willing to relocate.
- Must be allowed to work in the USA now and in the future.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with and/or interest in an agency environment.
