Ovyl is seeking a Lead Project Manager (Hardware/Physical Products) to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves managing projects from research through execution, ensuring the successful delivery of tech-enabled physical products.
About the Role
As a Lead Project Manager, you will manage projects from research through execution, collaborate with project teams to define and manage detailed project plans, serve as a point of contact for clients, proactively monitor project health, and work closely with the Ovyl leadership team to improve project management and client communication.
About You
Required:
8+ years of experience in hardware new product development, with at least 5 years as a project manager.
Well-versed in using project management software such as Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.
Fluency with the process and needs of different disciplines, including electrical engineering, hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and user research.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, or relevant industry experience.
Must live in the Nashville, TN, area or be willing to relocate.
Must be allowed to work in the USA now and in the future.
Preferred:
Familiarity with and/or interest in an agency environment.
