Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Lead Security Technician to join their team in North Haven, CT. The role involves managing all aspects of access control and IP camera products and systems installed at client sites.
About the Role
As a Lead Security Technician, you will be responsible for independently installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices, power supplies, and network components. You will communicate effectively with the Project Manager and present a knowledgeable image to customers. Your duties will include installing and servicing access control and IP camera systems, programming various access control products, and ensuring a safe working environment.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
- Mastery of all Install and service Technician responsibilities.
- Certifications in Lenel/Software House access control.
Preferred:
- Certifications in American Dynamics, Genetec, Exacq.
- Experience in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
- Experience in Audio Visual Technology.
- Experience troubleshooting network switches.
- Proficient in the use of a computer, with MS Word and MS Excel skill sets.
