Summary
Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is seeking a Lead Senior Service Provider to join their team in Auburn, WA. The role involves providing a variety of chore services to elderly and/or disabled Tribal members in a caring and compassionate manner.
About the Role
As a Lead Senior Service Provider, you will be responsible for conducting home visits, assisting clients with daily activities, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining records of services performed. You will also be expected to perform various miscellaneous duties such as scheduling appointments and running errands, while ensuring the well-being of the clients you serve.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from a high school or equivalent with coursework in general office practices.
- Five (5) years of related experience in the assigned program area.
- Completion of home health care certification program immediately upon hire.
- Current and valid Washington state driver's license.
Preferred:
- First Aid/CPR certification and Food Handler's permit within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working with elderly and disabled individuals.
- Good housekeeping practices and ability to lift more than 35lbs.
Muckleshoot Indian Tribe
The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe’s name is derived from the native name for the prairie on which the Muckleshoot Reservation was established. Following the Reservation’s establishment in 1857, the Tribe and its members came to be known as Muckleshoot, rather than by the historic tribal names of their Duwamish and Upper Puyallup ancestors. Today, the United States recognizes the Muckleshoot Tribe as a tribal successor to the Duwamish and Upper Puyallup bands from which the Tribe’s membership descends.
