L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Software Engineer (LMES) to join their team in Camden, NJ. The role involves leading a software development team and delivering high-assurance encryption products pivotal to national defense.
About the Role
As a Technical Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a software development team, analyzing requirements, planning development, assigning tasks, and tracking team performance. You will also support engineering team members, investigate complex issues, and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
About You
Required:
- U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware.
- Experience with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with EVMS.
- Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with Information Assurance and/or cryptography.
- Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or other software certification such as DO-178.
- Prior RUST experience.
