About the Role
As a Lead Software Engineer Product Owner, you will act as the primary point of contact for product stakeholders, develop and maintain a product vision and roadmap, lead a team of software engineers, and collaborate with various departments to ensure product alignment with business strategies. You will oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions, conduct backlog grooming sessions, monitor KPIs, and engage with customers to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a product owner or lead engineering role.
- Proven experience managing software products through their entire lifecycle.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and practices.
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on user experience.
