Summary
Worley is seeking a Lead Substation Electrical Engineer to join their team in Reading, PA. The role involves providing engineering support for the design of substation facilities for 69kV and above as part of the Power Networks team.
About the Role
As a Lead Substation Electrical Engineer, you will independently perform tasks including substation physical design, preparation of specifications, engineering drawings, and auxiliary electrical power system studies. You will also supervise and coordinate other engineers, ensure quality assurance of documents, and communicate effectively with project personnel and customers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 12 or more years of experience in substation design including supervisory experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
Preferred:
- Experience with power system modeling and analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, CYME, SKM).
- Experience working in project leadership roles and estimating project costs.
