WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Lead Water / Wastewater Engineer to join their full-service Design Center team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves providing engineering services for the planning, analysis, and design of water and wastewater systems.
About the Role
As a Lead Water / Wastewater Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering studies, design reports, and construction documents related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Your tasks will include creating detailed designs, performing hydraulic modeling, and collaborating with CAD designers. You will also mentor junior staff and may need to travel to project sites occasionally.
About You
Required:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree.
- PE required; AZ PE preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater projects.
- Demonstrated engineering experience with client interactions.
- Proficiency in detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- MS degree in a relevant field.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Revit.
