The State of Wisconsin is seeking a Learning Facilitator at HH Bennett Historic Site - LTE to lead educational experiences for PK-12 students and teachers in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
About the Role
As a Learning Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating dynamic learning experiences through field trips and in-classroom programs. You will engage with local schools to develop inquiry-based, standards-aligned learning experiences, support the development of educational resources, and provide administrative support for group bookings and attendance tracking. This role requires collaboration with other staff to enhance program offerings and may involve supporting retail operations as needed.
About You
Required:
- Enthusiasm for engaging students in the study of history and civic learning.
- Strong ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively engage with large groups.
- Ability to use a computer and possess working knowledge of word processing and database software.
Preferred:
- Experience working with PK-12 groups and/or developing learning experiences for these audiences.
Benefits
- Part-time position averaging 20 hours per week.
- Pay rate of $16.50 per hour with a weekend differential of 80 cents per hour.
- Limited Term Employment position without paid time off or benefits.
