About the Role
As a lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching/co-teaching lecture, seminar, and/or laboratory courses. Additional duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials, and maintaining a course website. The position is part-time and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.
About You
Required:
- Advanced degree, or enrolled in an advanced degree program, at the time of application.
- Advanced degree required by the start date of the position.
- Legal permit that allows work in the United States for non-US citizens or permanent residents.
Preferred:
- Completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree.
- Documented experience in teaching one of the biological sciences at the college level.
- Ability to support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy.
