About the Role
As a Regulatory Attorney, AVP, you will support senior members of Compliance and Legal teams on compliance and regulatory matters, devise and maintain compliance policies, draft disclosures, coordinate responses to marketing requests, provide regulatory advice, and prepare for regulatory examinations. You will work closely with various business groups and monitor regulatory developments impacting the business.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm and as a compliance professional, preferably at a credit-focused asset manager.
- Law firm experience is required, with a preference for experience in fund formation or regulatory practice groups.
- Excellent communication skills and drafting experience.
- Experience in a control room or trading desk.
Preferred:
- Proactive in managing projects independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
- Strong independent thinker with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory requirements.
