About the Role
As a Legal Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining legal case files, conducting criminal record checks, typing and proofreading legal documents, assisting with discovery preparation, and managing calendars. You will also serve as a liaison with the public and law enforcement, ensuring effective coordination of operational functions for assigned units.
About You
Required:
- Possession of an associate’s degree or higher for Legal Administrative Specialist I; a bachelor’s degree or higher for II and III.
- Knowledge of legal terminology.
- Experience in coordinating office activities and document processing.
Preferred:
- Experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, or databases.
- Experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
