About the Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for entering court appearances and deadlines into the calendar system, preparing and distributing calendar reports, sorting and saving incoming mail, handling case-related costs, and performing other assigned duties. This position requires a highly organized and detail-focused individual who can manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
About You
Required:
- Prior experience in a legal setting is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, processes, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A Bachelor's degree.
Preferred:
- Paralegal Certificate is a PLUS.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and respond calmly and courteously.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
