About the Role
As a Legal Counsel, you will serve as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on sanctions and export controls, tracking and communicating changes in regulations, and preparing legal updates. You will maintain strong communication with internal teams and may require some domestic and occasional international travel.
About You
Required:
- Law degree from an accredited law school (JD or LLM)
- Licensed to practice law
- At least 5 years practicing law, with relevant experience in sanctions and export controls
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of existing and emerging sanctions and export controls worldwide
- Ability to give practical, strategic, business-oriented advice and recommendations
- Ability to establish strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
- Strong time management skills that enable executing with urgency on critical projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive for results
