The Hartford is seeking a Legal Office Team Leader to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves leading a high-performing legal support team and ensuring operational excellence within the California Workers’ Compensation Legal Offices.
About the Role
As the Legal Office Team Leader, you will provide leadership and oversight to the hybrid remote support staff, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and high-quality work. You will collaborate with attorneys and management to align resources and support the legal team's success, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhancing team performance.
About You
Required:
7+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department environment.
Prior people leadership or equivalent experience, including mentorship, project oversight, and training.
Working knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation law and board systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to clearly communicate complex information in coaching and training settings.
Demonstrated thought leadership with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
Strong proficiency with MS Office and enterprise systems.
College degree or equivalent professional experience.
A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles or surrounding area.
