About the Role
As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for preparing and filing court documents, managing case files, assisting with trial preparation, and maintaining the legal team's calendar. You will also draft and proofread legal documents, conduct legal research, liaise with clients and court officials, and assist in billing and budget reports.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary, paralegal, or in a similar role within the legal industry.
- Profound knowledge of litigation support, legal procedures, protocols, and court systems.
- Exceptional calendaring skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and legal research software.
