Summary
HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to work Part-Time (2 days per week) in nursing facilities across the Cape Cod, MA area.
About the Role
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will provide behavioral health services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities. Your responsibilities will include completing psychosocial assessments, providing 1-on-1 therapy, recommending therapeutic interventions, conducting risk assessments, and entering patient information in the EMR system. This role requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- State professional LMHC license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software.
