About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to assess the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of inmates. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing treatment programs, administering medications, assisting in medical procedures, and maintaining medical documentation. You will also be involved in triaging healthcare requests and ensuring the safety and dignity of inmates.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
- Current licensure as a LPN/LVN within the state of employment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Current TB test (taken within one year).
Preferred:
- Experience in correctional healthcare settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Benefits
- Pay range: $34-38/hr, plus a $2.00 per hour weekend shift differential.
