Summary
BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Daytona Beach, FL. The role involves supporting plasma center operations and ensuring donor safety and eligibility.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will determine donor eligibility for plasma donation, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Plasma Center Manager and the Center Physician, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized educational nursing program.
- Currently licensed or certified as an LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Preferred:
- Experience in plasma collection or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with FDA training requirements for medical support specialists.
