About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to implement evidence-based treatment strategies that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. Your responsibilities will include providing basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care, identifying individuals in need of medical services, and training clients and their families on health and wellness.
About You
Required:
- State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent) is required.
- Experience in the rehabilitation of chronically or catastrophically ill or injured is recommended.
- Demonstrated accountability and skills in analysis, problem solving, decision making, and time management.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with families, clients, staff, and physicians.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- Competence in writing, planning, organization, and documentation.
- Experience in training or educating families and other constituents.
