About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plans for residents/patients. You will manage the environment to maintain safety, supervise nursing assistants, and adhere to the standards of care. The position requires effective communication with residents, families, and staff, and compliance with all center policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
