About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform general nursing care, assist with the preparation of equipment, collect assessment data, order diagnostic tests, schedule procedures, and may administer injections or medications. You will also document clinical information and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Current state licensure as an LPN or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- 1 year of healthcare experience.
- State approved IV course certification.
- Knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment process.
- PALS or ACLS certification may be required based on the specific area of practice.
